ProPIC

Alternativ zu einer Übung im Modul Recent Developments in English Language Teaching können Sie in diesem Semester erstmals am ProPIC Projekt teilnehmen. Wenden Sie sich hierfür bitte direkt an Frau Murillo Wilstermann.

ProPIC Intensive course I
Blockveranstaltung: 06.08.2018-10.08.2018
Mo-Fr, 08:00 - 16:00

LS1 - R.206

The ProPIC project is an opportunity for prospective teachers of English, Spanish, French and Italian to develop a range of essential skills focused around the theme of ‘becoming professional'. A mix of blended learning opportunities where students collaborate, develop digital learning and teaching skills and get to work on small-scale research projects as part of an intercultural exchange.

Within ProPIC we offer a study programme that consists of two courses that are presented as an alternative to the regular E-FD-33-1D "Theories, Methods and Approaches in English Language Teaching" courses with 2,5 CP each. If you would like to participate in the first edition of the study programme, please register for the courses "ProPIC Intensive course I" and for "ProPIC Study week I".

The study programme will be offered three times. For each edition there are 12 places available.

ProPIC Study week I
Blockveranstaltung: 10.9.2018-14.9.2018
Mo-Fr, 08:00 - 16:00

LS8 - R.234

The study week is the second course of the study programme and includes one week at one of the partner institutions in order to work with other international students and teacher educators in small research projects. Prospective teachers develop creative products using mobile technologies, exchange traditions and methodologies and build transnational networks. While you are one week away in Karlsruhe, Borås, Barcelona or Newcastle working with international students and teacher educators, other international students spend one week at our university.
